We strive to ensure Queen City Anime Convention is a fun and inclusive experience for everyone. Our team actively works to improve accessibility across the event and our venues through efforts such as:
Selecting venues with ADA-compliant entrances, restrooms, and elevators.
Providing accessible paths, ramps, and entrances wherever feasible.
Offering seating accommodations in panel rooms and event spaces.
Providing clear signage and accessible maps.
Actively welcoming feedback to continually enhance our accessibility efforts.
If you have any questions or concerns before or during the convention, please visit our Info Booth or email us at info@queencityanimecon.org.
Lines and Entrances
We understand that long wait times and crowded areas can pose difficulties. While we cannot guarantee priority seating or immediate entrance to every event, room, or activity due to capacity and safety regulations, we will do our best to provide reasonable accommodations to attendees who need them.
If you require accommodations related to waiting in line, room access, or seating, please inform our Info Booth staff or a nearby staff member or volunteer as early as possible. For specific needs, we appreciate advance notice whenever possible, allowing us to better prepare and assist you.
Commitment to Improvement
Queen City Anime Convention is continuously seeking to improve accessibility for all guests. We encourage anyone with accessibility needs, suggestions, or concerns to speak directly with a staff member at the Info Booth or reach out to us via email at info@queencityanimecon.org. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us make the convention more accessible for everyone.
Service Animals
In accordance with ADA guidelines, service animals are welcome at Queen City Anime Convention. Please note that under the ADA, only dogs individually trained to perform tasks or work for a person with a disability are recognized as service animals.
Our staff and volunteers are trained to understand that only two questions may be asked regarding a service animal:
Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?
What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
Important: Emotional support animals, therapy animals, or pets are not recognized as service animals under the ADA and will not be permitted.
Service animals must remain under control at all times and comply with venue policies regarding leashing and behavior.
